Graeme Wedderburn

Founder and Managing Director

Graeme Wedderburn is one of Australia’s most experienced executives specialising in corporate affairs, government, media, community engagement and campaigns. He works at the highest levels of business and government and provides advice and services to major corporations, organisations and governments with interests in Australia and the region.

In the private sector, Graeme was formerly Head of Corporate Affairs for Transgrid, Australia’s largest privately owned transmission company, a General Manager of Origin Energy, a leading Australian energy exporter, generator and retailer and a Director of Westpac Banking Corporation’s investment banking and funds management arm, Specialised Capital Group, now Hastings Funds Management.

In government, he served as Chief Adviser to Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Overseas Development Aid. He was also long-term Chief of Staff to the longest continuously serving Premier of New South Wales (NSW) and Communications Director and Director of Strategy for the Government of NSW.

With experience in infrastructure development, energy, finance, foreign affairs, government, politics and regulatory affairs, Graeme has also been contracted to a range of businesses in Australia and Hong Kong, including KPMG, to provide strategic advice and editorial support for competitive bids, transactions and government plans and policy.

A veteran of many successful corporate campaigns, competitive bids and elections, Graeme is a leading strategic planner and communicator who has assisted business and government clients to manage issues, crises and media. He has been a commentator on government, politics and business for Fairfax Media and Sky Business.
